I've always loved iDVD for years now. Makes a decent stab at doing a pretty home video menu well families are always impressed no matter what you do but it's pretty simple and makes a relatively professional job minus the translucent Apple logo in the bottom right to give away the source being a minor point.
There's still the little niggle though of it not fully understanding Anamorphic Widescreen DV. Sometimes you still have to manually change it on your TV maybe it's the flavour of H codec I'm using out of Compressor I don't know. It is what it is despite some of the snide remarks below.

Jnoeding Oct 15 IDVD V7 isn't any better. The image quality is absolutely terrible. I am a photographer, and had wanted to produce some DVDs of my work that I could give to potential clients.
